Designaren Rebrands to Bokaap Designs

February 5, 2022 (IANSlife) A well-known studio Designaren has rebranded as Bokaap design. They have relaunched with a new vision.

Beginning in 2010 as a boutique design studio, the studio sought to bring a global perspective to the Indian design world. Within 11 years of its inception, the company has worked on over 100 projects across 15+ industries globally, and has diversified across sectors and industries such as FMCG, FinTech, Social Enterprise, Legal, Education, and B2B, amongst many others. As of 2020, Designaren has evolved into Bokaap Design, with experience handling all aspects of branding and end-to-end design-focused tech solutions specializing in branding, packaging, and UX/UI design.

Bokaap Design is an amalgamation of Niraali's personal journey and professional vision to evolve with the change in the market and digital escalation since 2020. It is pronounced as bow-cap, a nod to the vibrant neighbourhood in Cape Town known for its cobbled streets and coloured homes (with a powerful meaning behind the coloured homes). According to Niraali, the goal is to provide clients with end-to-end Product Design solutions by taking a more strategic approach to design. Bokaap Design has evolved into a branding and product design consulting firm, working with clients in the start-up or enterprise space across industries such as consumer products, SaaS, eCommerce, and more.

When asked about the brand's transition, Parekh, the founder, stated, "At the heart of this revamp is the intent to focus on our core strengths owing to our exposure and versatility and delivering products for bridging business goals while meeting user needs." I've taken some time to reflect on my experience in Bokaap in preparation for my next stage of development. Some aspects of our company have changed, while others, such as our commitment, integrity, and personalised service, will never change."

The studio has worked with hundreds of domestic and international clients, including McDonald's, Radio Mirchi, Jones Lang LaSalle, Brookfield Financial, ICICI Prudential, and Citibank, to provide them with cost-effective and comprehensive design solutions. It enables startups and MSMEs across domains to communicate their purpose by developing a strategic understanding of the brand, product, and audience, all of which combine to inspire a simple, functional, and impactful design.
