ByIANSlife Features

March 1, 2020 (IANSlife) Delhiites are in for a two-day treat with flavoursome food and mood setting music at an upcoming festival.

The city’s newest and most lively fiesta, Beat Street Festival, will be “everything street” -- from dance performances, rap battles, DJ battles, street shows and a host of musical guests, the organisers said.

Debuting on March 14-15, at Kalagram at Garden of Five Senses in Saket, the outdoor festival will compliment the surreal natural landscapes with a beautiful blend of urban Delhi, at the venue.

Highlights include stunning performances by artists like Karan Aujla, Lisa Mishra, and Sukh-E, among others.

For food, delicious cuisines like Lebanese, North Indian, European, Oriental, Italian, Mughlai, Mexican, Coastal, from 50 street food restaurants along with popular drinks and cocktails will make for a lazy fun weekend.

“India does not have carnivals that focus on street culture, and we want to change that. Beat Street aims at celebrating food and music like never before. This will also act as a platform for young talent to come together for rap battles, DJ battles and dance offs. We aim to take Beat Street to tier-2 cities and promote street culture in its true form,” festival founders Shubham Gulliya and Tanya Juneja said.

Tickets are available at Bookmyshow and start from Rs 399.
