November 4, 2019 (IANSlife) While festive fashion gives us a chance to dress to the nines in the traditional finery like textiles, saris, embellished lehengas and other such fancy fare; the winter months also allow us to snuggle up with the best of fashion. It’s time to roll out your plush jackets, thigh-high boots, Pashmina scarves and leather if you dare to. Even those by the beach, can address the nip in the air with cotton jackets and athleisure. We’re featuring the hippest celebrities to get you up to date with what’s stylish.

 

 

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, uses the same stylist as Gigi and Bella Hadid amongst other Hollywood celebrities; her time in the US affords her plenty of opportunity to dress for the cold. Mrs. Jonas was spotted wearing a striped single breasted suit, thrown over a polo neck. If you don’t have a polo neck, the easiest place to find one will be your mum's closet. How’s that for the retro chic.  

 

 

Our very own resident Fashionista, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, leads the rat race when it comes to stylish celebrities. Her Simone Rocha trench dress is all things feminine yet powerful; if you have deep pockets we highly recommend the Chopard jewels and Aquazzura booties to match. 

 

 

If it’s a holiday in the Swiss alps or our very own Himalayas, which are just as magnificent, take a cue from Katrina Kaif dressed in a red pullover and a woolen cap. It’s sunny, bright and makes you smile; what more do you need to bear the cold?

 

 

Anushka Sharma labels her look “Suiting and booting,” we can’t help but agree. While Mrs. Kohli wears a jumpsuit, not all of us have her figure to pull it off. Instead, try a suit teamed with a waistcoat, it'll have the same effect without the bulge. And hey, who doesn’t love a tie right!

 

 

When one looks at Kangana in this photo there’s so much of Swag, even though all it is, is just an overcoat thrown over her shoulder. To nail this look you'll need a whole lot of attitude. 

 

 

For a day out at sea level, on a balmy afternoon, try Kareena Kapoor Khan’s casual suit for a chic outing. In the evening doll up in a pair of Louboutins and a brocade coat like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

 

 

 

If athleisure is your thing, then try out spunky Jacqueline Fernandez’s hot red tracksuit, it has our vote, especially great if all you care about is being comfortable and looking hot!

Last and certainly not least, if you have the figure to pull it off, like Karsima Kapoor, nothing beats a pair of leather pants with ankle-high boots.
