* The Gem: Grant's Espresso Martini

INGREDIENTS

Grant's Whisky: 50 ml<br>Shot of Espresso: 1<br>Kahlua: 25 ml

METHOD

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add all three ingredients<br>Shake for 15-20 seconds<br>Strain & garnish with coffee beans

<br>* Hot Spiced Apple

INGREDIENTS

Hendrick's Gin: 150 ml<br>Apple Juice spiced with 2 cloves, 2 crushed cardamoms, 2 star anises, juniper berries, peel of 1 orange: 750 ml<br>Grated nutmeg: Few<br>Orange (for garnishing)

METHOD

Simmer the apple juice with spices in a pan<br>Add Hendrick's Gin<br>Serve in a tankard or teacup and garnish with three slices of apple and a dusting of nutmeg
